Rinse thoroughly and towel dry with a lint-free towel to prevent accumulation of minerals from tap water which can affect the taste of your wine. The compounds found in wood stains and finishes used on furniture can settle on the glass after even short periods of storage – especially if the furniture is new. Wash and dry stemware that has been stored for a longer time before pouring. |
