Most wines out of the Central Coast  bear the name of a nested AVA from which they are sourced. Many of these produce great wines.
There is a mental association in people&#039;s minds that Napa IS wine country and there is none other. Names have little to do with it.
It&#039;s just brand equity - which, these days, is more dependent on marketing rather than on inherent quality or the product&#039;s own merits.
Sizzle before the steak, if you will.</description>
